The summer of my 4th grade year, my mom and I would sit together on the couch every afternoon and watch reruns of The Carol Burnett Show. We didn’t go on summer vacations as a kid, which meant the summer months seem to stretch on for years. It also meant The Carol Burnett Show was a highlight of the day. To 4th grade me, it was an event.
When I want to feel nostalgic in front of the TV, I make celery with peanut butter and/or cheese spread. The DW thinks it's horrible. I don't care, it's my personal ratatouille.
